A Taste of Something Spicy After Dark
Adelaide Arcade illuminated for Adelaide Arcade After Dark during SALA Festival
There is something special about exploring Adelaide Arcade after hours.
On Thursday 13 August, this much-loved Adelaide landmark will come alive for Adelaide Arcade After Dark, a free evening celebrating art, creativity, shopping and community as part of the SALA Festival.
From 5.00pm, visitors can wander through the Arcade, discover exhibitions, meet local artists and makers, enjoy special in-store experiences and see some of its independent businesses in a different light.
Ditters will also be staying open a little later for the occasion, with something deliciously spicy waiting inside.
A Taste of Something Spicy
Drop into Ditters before 7.00pm for free tastings of three of our recently introduced and returning spicy favourites.
These products are not usually available to sample in-store, so Adelaide Arcade After Dark is a rare opportunity to try all three side by side and discover which one has just the right kick for you.
Devilled Almonds are made with premium Australian blanched almonds, roasted and flavoured with our signature chilli and paprika seasoning. Bold and savoury, they deliver a satisfying chilli kick without overpowering the natural flavour of the almonds.
For those who prefer plenty of heat, Hot Peppery Peanuts are our hottest option. Flavoured with chilli and black pepper, they have a bold kick from the very first bite.
At the milder end of the range, our Spicy Cashew & Macadamia Mix combines premium roasted cashews and macadamias with a gently spiced savoury seasoning. The warmth starts softly and gradually builds with every handful.
Whether you already love chilli or are simply curious to try something different, come in, taste all three and choose your favourite.
Adelaide Arcade Through Young Eyes
As Adelaide Arcade celebrates local art and creativity during SALA Festival, we are also revisiting a selection of charming drawings created by children from Little Picassos.
Adelaide Arcade through the eyes of young artists from Little Picassos, created for an exhibition in the Arcade during the 2025 school holidays.
The drawings were originally displayed as part of an exhibition held in Adelaide Arcade during the 2025 school holidays. Each young artist captured the Arcade in their own imaginative way, from its distinctive architecture and shopfronts to the small details that make it such a recognisable Adelaide landmark.
Their colourful interpretations are a lovely reminder that familiar places can always be seen from a fresh perspective.
